Considering this M140 but what’s wrong with it?

Post by 41EX.92 » Sat Feb 17, 2018 10:29 am

Hi, I’m a long time lurker but this is my first post, what a fantastic forum this is the content / topics have been very useful.

I have been considering a late LCI M135i or early M140i depending on spec / price. Up to £22k budget.

Spotted this BMW AUC one: http://www.sandalwakefieldbmw.co.uk/us ... 4f8531e8cc

but it’s a little far away from me in Wakefield (I’m in Surrey)! Anyone here know the car? it just seems odd that it has been for sale for a quite some time on the BMW website.

Appreciate it’s not got adaptive but it’s got HK, Pro Nav and it is in my preferred blue and it is an m140 which is a bonus. It has been listed since before Christmas and it is a very reasonable price too. Considering a cheeky offer but nervous that there might be a reason it has not yet sold and Huddersfield is a long way to go to find out it is a dog of a car. Although how much can be wrong after only circa 8k miles?!

Would you wait until after 1st March to buy for a better deal or would you get a better deal with a dealer wanting to offload pre new reg?

Thanks.

I wouldn't say its particularly cheap, remember it's nearly 18 months old.

You can get well specced pre reg's for £25k
Now - E92 M3, DCT, Comp Pack, Alpine White.

Gone - 2016 M135i

Probably because you can get a new one for less deposit and cheaper payments under PCP. Most people i would suggest use this finance arrangement.

I bought mine from Sandal Hudds...very good negotiation on price and the APR wasn't the usual AUC approved. Was fine.
Looking for m140i SE before end of Sept!

£23k is a good price for a 2 year old one imo specially with that low mileage...

I bought my 140 from sandal Wakefield, they were spot on. Matt Green was the chap that did my sale, I would recommend getting hold of him if you’re interested.

Not me I’m afraid. I have been on a few other forums over the years, but that wasn’t one of them.
