Any south coast U.K. people with an LSD?

Post by mrf22uk » Tue Apr 17, 2018 7:55 pm

I am considering an LSD for my 240, the TCL is always on when pulling out of junctions and bends... I’m just not sure I’m gonna notice the difference....

Does anyone have one and would be kind enough to let me test the car out, many beers will be purchased in return!

Thanks

If you notice the TC light on and the subsequent interference, you will definitely love an LSD.
Single best mod I've made to my M140.
I'm in Surrey if you're ever up this way.
Shadow Edition w/719M wheels, Manual, Estoril Blue/Cognac, full Maxton bodykit, M Perf interior bits,
full Akrapovic, M4 LCAs, Quaife

Thanks! Good to know.

There’s some good BMW and Surrey Car Meets happening this year. Maybe see you at one of them.

Traction control starts working well before the TC light starts flashing.
So you'll definitely benefit from an LSD. I don't agree with anyone who considers an LSD only beneficial for track use.
In any weather barring a hot summer's day - the 245mm section tyres will always struggle for grip.
Aussie M140i 5 door
Quaife LSD - Eibach Pro springs - SuperPro camber bushes - BCS cat back (boost flap deleted - electric actuator flap retrofitted)
