Got to love the comments about, might be quicker in a straight line but wait until you get to a track, as if youd pull off the m4 and go find a race track to settle the score. Its all about having fun in these cars, unless you know anything about them they look nothing, modern sleeper, a 30k car upsetting a supercar nothing better IMO. Plus look at the 100-200km/h times some 1/240s are doing easily go up against a 911

But the whole point is the Mlite isn't really fun unless you call slip road races fun.

A 'fun' car gives excellent feedback, inspires confidence and makes you feel like a driving god at any speed and that is where in stock form the mlite fails.
The mite doesn't fail on fun.My 240 is "fun"keeping up with so called superior cars like E92 M3s, audi rs4 etc

Both are fun, in very different ways. One is a fair bit 'better' to drive, but it should be for the price.

The M140i shouldn't be beating a 997 4s.

A lot of people claiming big power figures and scalps driving the M140i. I've still not seen a standard M140i going down the drag strip proving that level of performance.
Stop talking rubbish! Yes the M140i should and if I need to explain the basic of why then you need some homework. And before you start, I too have seen M140i’s all over 997 4s’s.

What is it will people who do not understand that M140i/M240i are quick cars ffs.

Very polite.

What homework do I need to do? Nearly all the fastest Mx40is are topping out at 112mph at the drag strips managing 12.7sec.

A 385bhp 997 beats that with quite a bit to spare.

I have no lack of understanding how quick Mlites are

You and your drag strips ffs mate bore off, you are like a broken record. I know 9second cars that cannot go round a bends but thats another topic that you wont understand either going off your current post knowledge.

Thanks for stopping by though.

It was you that called me out and picked the argument.

Are you now saying a 911 can't go around bends like a M140i? Where does an Mlite beat a 911?

If you forget drag strips and racetracks for a bit and look at what the Mlite does best which is mid range pulls a tuned 40i matches anything but the very elite from 100-200kmh. It's even keel if not quicker than a 997 turbo in this range which is mind blowing for what it is.

But this is where the performance of these cars matters, on the road where you are 95% of the time.

With a basically stock car and add a few bits here and there and you have an M140i in maniac mode that breaks traction at a whiff of throttle and Focken Flies.
