Once you are aquaplaning it doesn't matter what is switched on or off, you have no control. It happened to a M135i owner I know driving on the motorway in heavy rain with everything switched on and not dicking around (confirmed by his wife!). Luckily he hit the barrier and nothing else hit him.

1. You’re pushing the wrong button, press the stop/start button. This automatically selects Park anyway. Water cooled turbo, so no need to idle the car.

2. Sport+ allows a fair bit of leeway before intervention steps in. If you are still getting held back, you need to decide which of the two driver categories you are in:
a.) Max Verstappen / driving god - Sport+ is holding me back, I have cat like reactions, so no problem switching it off.
b.) ‘that guy’ - thinks he’s Max Verstappen, owns an Xbox with project cars, often seen losing control at a car meet. In which case leave ‘traction off’ well alone.

1. when I pull up for example into a parking space and take off belt the car keeps bing bonging at me saying seatbelt if off, very frustrating considering i put car in the "P" position and is out of gear, is this normal? only way to stop is to torn off engine.
Mine does the same, only way around it is to not undo the seat belt before you stop. Once it start bing bonging it just don't stop. You can put the car in park, get out of the car (with the motor running) and climb a tree to the top and it will still bing bong about your seat beat.
