I have a 340i touring (without the MPPSK), and can't separate the performace between it and my previous M235i, measured on a Racelogic Performancebox.

The ride and body contol over uneven roads is so much better in the 340, but you are aware it's a heavier car when you reach a corner.

Steering not as good in the 3 compared to the 1, as it doesn't have the quick turn- in (forgotten it's name) as standard.

Fuel consumption under the same circumstances 10% better with the B58 compared to the N55.

Boot size a lot better than 1 series.

Harman Kardon has graphic equaliser if that's you thing.

Interior no better quality unfortunately.

Better looking than the 1 series.

There are more and more used 340 tourers appearing.

I’ve been keeping and eye on them.

Boot space is bigger and more usable than 140.

No need for mppsk really.

Deprecation in line with 3 series which is something like 65% over 4 years so there’s no way I’d be looking at new.
