Hissing in the cabin?

Post by rjstua » Fri Oct 19, 2018 12:51 pm

Hi all,

I have noticed a kind of hissing/whitenoise coming from somewhere in the car(2015 M135i lci) when I get in and turn on the ignition(but not the engine). It is almost audible when the engine is on and idle too.

I can't work out if it's the fans/aircon(although I don't believe so) or the speakers, or something else.

Anyone else noticed the same?

Cheers,
Rob

It'll be the speakers. Mine does this too (BMW Loudspeaker system) and once the car is running you don't notice it.

There may be a software update to fix it:

It's annoying, I'm one of those that, once I can hear something annoying I can't un-hear it! Like my alarm in the morning....
