Hi,

Was supposed to have picked mine up on the 31st of January. Absolutely no update as of when the car will be released.

Called yesterday and update was that some models have been released. Compensation will be given dependent on wait I have been told.

Also, it's not a critical safety issue. The screws that hold rear light in place have been lubricated with something that could carrode plastic. All very frustrating!

The more I read these posts the more I think BMW are p*ss poor re quality and service.

There service is shocking. Yeah there going to compensate but it should never come to that. Honestly don't think these cars will be released for another couple of weeks.

If it’s only something like that, they should do like they did with the M2 diff issue and let them out on the basis that they’ll be remediated as soon as possible.

If it is another few weeks, i’ll be cancelling.

So will I.

Garage stated yesterday that if this had happened after collection owners would not be notified. It would be picked up as part of the service. If that's the case cars should be released .

If it's not resolved this week I will be canceling and going elsewhere for a 19 plate

I've been told I can pick mine up tomorrow!!! I'm waiting to find out as to why (little bit of me doesn't care now, fickle I know!) it is suddenly available.

Who is your dealer? I seemed to get traction this week by saying/asking how are dealers (berry, rochdale williams, cotswold etc...) releasing the cars but Stratstone aren't. The customer liaison person I got seems to have kicked Stratstone into shape, might be coincidence but it worked.

I’ve got to speak to mine tomorrow anyway, to find out where they are with my replacement loan car. Will ask them why cars are being released when I’m still not hearing anything.

I have had confirmation my M140i December build is affected but since I haven't collected it yet they will make sure it's done before the 1st.march. Seems good to me

if a 68plate car isn’t released prior to March 1st, can we re-negotiate the prices as they’re not actually a new car anymore??

Pretty sure the Q1 prices are more expensive than the previous

So who wants a laugh...?

Got told I could finally pick my car up so off I went like a hobbit full of joy, hour and half in the traffic over to Leeds. Turned up. It had the wrong alloys on and someone had crashed it getting it getting into the handover area. I. Give. Up. ImageImageImageImage Image
