Strange noise when coming off throttle

Hi all,

Apologies if this has been brought up before.

When I come off the throttle completely the car makes a consistent strange noise, almost like a slight scratching (like left to right). It always sounds like it's shifting one way then the other.

Anyone else had this? Is it something to do with emissions?

Car in question... an Oct 2017 M140i SE auto, on just over 20k miles.
