Warranty question
Would it affect my extended bmw warranty if I have non bmw disc's fitted , as I want to get discs that don't corrode on the bell area ?

Re: Warranty question
Discs and pads are excluded from warranty as they’re classed as consumables, so I can’t see it being an issue.
But to be on the safe side I would ping an email to the relevant people at bmw warranty and get a response in black & white. Then if anything was to happen with your drivetrain or related components they won’t be able to shake responsibility on a potential warranty claim by blaming it on non-genuine (out of specification) brake discs.

Re: Warranty question
The top-hat section is aluminium, what 'corrosion' are you seeing?
Are you sure it's not simply cast iron dust from the disc, embedding itself?
