I think your overthinking things to be honest, get them powder coated if you can its more durable and just get colour to suit what you want, doesn't matter what colour code it is if your changing it, just pick one you like :D
I recently diy/aerosol painted mine satin black after carefully bead blasting them, its not as durable as Powder coating but it will be good enough for me and I can always redo if I need to, thread here - http://www.babybmw.net/viewtopic.php?f= ... &start=210

I do not like another color than the original.

There is no color code to the powder, there is only a RAL letter and they are plain colors so you would not know which is the same color in RAL chart.

I think I will paint in workshop with normal car paint code B05

Show the original caliper to Powder coater see if they have something close on colour chart ?

Forget the code there isn't perfect match ive yet seen, I tried B05- Montecarlo and 318-Lemans blue on my last set to touch up some chips and Lemans was closer match and while not perfect looking close but you couldn't tell when stood next to car with wheel on ;)

As I said the problem is that I do not have original color tweezers, the tweezers are gray and I can not compare with the letter ral.

Ah ok, maybe you could get a good picture from internet and show powder coater that ?....Ral5000 looks quite close on internet but hard to say for sure without proper colour chart, if painting then to me 381 lemans blue was closest I found you wouldn't notice difference without putting right next to oem caliper.

Thanks friend, I have to think what to do, in a few hours I will make a decision about whether to take and paint in lemans in car that is safer color, since I have no sample, or dust and risk, the ral colors are very muted, very bland and smooth. the only good thing is that the painting is much more durable.

5005 on that chart looks roughly right on my screen too. I would prefer to see real examples in daylight though, colour charts can be very misleading.

That's the problem, the deception of the color tables with the reality ... and the lack of not having the color in person with me

I just left the tweezers to paint, I have to confirm with the color code of b05 or 318 on Monday. I have not told you which of the two, because you are not sure, in some photos b05 seems to be close.

also be in confirm with the logos as the m seems grisacea, and I have doubts about whether to put it white and lacar on top of it

Hello friends, I wanted to ask you for simple help, any of you that have the m sport blue calipers of origin in your car, can you measure me the logos of M front and rear of the calipers? I need to get the same stickers because I just painted my calipers and I want to put the same original logos. Thank you!!

Another thing, a while ago I saw a guy from this group who painted the yellow tongs and put the logos of Brembo instead of the M of bmw, do you have any pictures of some bmw calipers with brembo logo? I lost the photos and now I do not see them anywhere.

Thanks again!
