Great stance JB. Any chance you could share the specs on the wheels?

Cheers, sure no problem the wheels are 8x18 et40 front and 9x18 et44 rear, standard sized MPSS at the moment but will go wider once they wear down :)

Thanks JB.
I'm also going 18x8 ET40 for the front.

But with rear, just be mindful of going wider than stretched 245's.

He mentions the CCH-R's specifically also (18x9 ET44).

8" ET40 should be fine with up to 245 tyres front and rear and perhaps even 8" ET35 with 225 tyres
8.5" ET45 should be OK with up to 245-255 tyres and 8.5" ET38 is OK with 225 tyres (I have this for winter set-up)
9" ET50 is OK with up to 265 tyres (rear) and 9" ET45 is OK with 245 tyre
9.5" ET50 should be OK with up to 255 tyres (rear) as I've read with some VMR wheel installs

Problem with staggered wheel sets is that I've seen for the 1er is that the wider 9" rear wheels are rather aggressive which means having stretched tyres (245's) for them not to rub...e.g. BBS CH-R 9" ET44 & OZ Ultraleggera 9" ET40 are notable examples... They do fit but careful tyre choice is required!
Hence I've chosen to go 18x9 ET50.

But hot damn the CCH-R looks really good. Love the stance with the KW's.

Was thinking of 255s on the rear, you got me thinking now...

picked her up a few weeks ago to replace a 135 which was stolen after they broke into house, braking down 2 locked doors to get in :( . So with reason I thought a little upgrade to the 140 was needed

You might notice the improvised security around the front wheel, did this till the "Dislok" arrived

sleep with the key, no it gets put in a RFID protective pounch and locked in gun safe at night or when away, hoping DISLOK is enought to put then off so they go somewhere else now. Yes, Flash your right its same as yours, a VO. I wanted this or another blue one but with the red seats, but when i saw this reduced from £21k to £19,800 in leeds i had to take the 2 hours drive to check it out as it was advertised with 29k miles (I do 3k a year so no issue) and no extras, but from the pics i could see HK, Cruise, LED, PDC rear, manual, but alas no adaptive which i was after wanted.

Think from the videos released by the birmingham police showing how it only takes 10 secs at night to relay your key signal to the car and drive off everyone should have a RFID protective pouch.
