its a 52mm gauge pod I bought from ebay and moulded to fit using a heat gun
M140i SE: BBS CH-R Wheels, KW V2 coilovers, M4 LCA + TS, subframe inserts, BMW LSD, JB4 + FF & EWG wires, BMS meth kit, 3.5" exhaust, Maxton splitter, side blades, M foils, carbon spoiler, carbon 500 alcantara steering & M2 paddles

Did you do it yourself? Do you have pictures of the process and link to buy? How is this subject? glue?

oh great! I have bought! also very cheap 2.5 euros. I would like to look to buy a substitution filter type bmc, kn, piper cross etc ... would you recommend something to me? my engine is b47 150cv diesel remap at 195cv, will win something?

I've no experience of your engine but in my experience Piper Cross filters are fairly good as are K&N. I doubt you'd go wrong with either of those. :wink:

what scares me is the topic of map and oil in the filter or more dirt in the engine .... I do not want to damage the engine and maybe if I gain some power, even if this air improvement is minimal ...

Stick with an OEM (BMW) filter then for peace of mind.
You really won't notice any difference imho between an OEM filter and a performance filter alone. :thumbs:

What would you do in my place? It would be nice to gain some performance and sound ... but I do not want to damage the engine if it gets more sh*t .....

Get and AFE dry panel filter, you will be fine

Who would do this?

I’m all for modifying the car to get more power and noise but why would you heat gun a £3 piece of plastic to the front of your car?

BMW have spent millions on R&D for the car. That piece of plastic will do nothing or even upset the aero at the front (radiators etc)
