Oh! I feel like a real noob now :D never went in to that module. Any risk with disabling seat belt reminder?

Thanks Tubes!

Yep you have the hardware so crack on  page 14 of this thread has the settings.
Hi All.

Are these the same settings for a 2017 M140i with Business Nav ?

Sorry if this is a dumb question...

Is there any meaningful difference between the bluetooth version compared to the wifi other than the fact that they communicate through different means?

The latest model seems to support both, which is why I'm asking. Have bit the bullet on the WiFi version as I think as WiFi should have faster transfer rate.

Will report back if it works haha!

I think the iCar2 is preferable as it has an on/off switch which should avoid anything going into sleep mode and bricking your ECU.

Can someone confirm this because the BimmerCode site links to the latest versions.

http://www.bimmercodeapp.com/

Hopefully the latest app has some safeguards to keep the device awake.

First post here.
Just wondering what the code is for Bluetooth music streaming. Still can’t believe it doesn’t have built in Bluetooth music streaming

Apologies if this is a noob question but interested in getting a display up for speed, oil temp etc.

Is it possible to fit a WiFi obd adapter on an m240i or does
The location near the door jam get in the way?

It will fit but the flap wouldn’t close. However I wouldn’t recommend leaving it plugged in all the time. Security has changed a lot with the vehicles and the OBD port is on an ignition live but it’s a good practice.

Ive used bimmercode changed a few things

folding/unfolding mirrors over 30mph
led light under handles when reversing
m display start up

my question is i havent touched the seatbelt warning , and i cant remember if the standard setting beeped upon start up ,until you buckled up?

as mine now doesnt, only has a light on the dash which goes out when buckled, i just get 1 chim when un buckling if driving

cheers for replys

Anyone know if it’s possible to code folding mirrors on door lock without holding down the button?

Yes. It’s a basic setting in the FEM.
