Although I have an F30 xdrive I thought this may be of use to others.

I coded the Enhanced bluetooth following the instructions sent by Stephan and all went well, however it will not connect to the audio on my iPhone X.

It will connect to my iPad Pro without issue, so I assume the issue is with the Iphone.

An update.

The head unit did a reset on it's own for some reason.

However I removed the phone from the bluetooth reconnected and now it works as it should.

Just an update as I’ve not seen anyone with the same year / model posting on this.

June 2018, Business Nav, iDrive6

Just followed the printed / highlighted instructions from page 16 to enable advanced Bluetooth/ office.

Worked first time, now have 2 x phones connected(tested incoming and outgoing on both) and contact pictures. With the first phone connected I selected the second phone and it gives the option to either connect, or connect secondary. Once selected the phone has a small 2 next to it.

I couldn’t see any office menu, but sent myself a text and it came straight through and was visible in the notification centre, clicking it also reads it out loud.

If I click the “i” next to the text message it displays “no sender phone number was transmitted, therefore no answer is possible”
Anyone know if there’s a way around that? No a big issue as I’m able to send messages via siri using the voice command on the steering wheel

No. There is another ‘Bimmer’ app, can’t recall from the top of my head but that offers that functionality. If you are an android user justvuse Torque/Pro.

so i coded the digital speedometer via bimmercode but it doesn't appear on the dash! emailed Stephan ( the app creator ) and he says that I need to ' switch through the board computer options to set it ' - what does this mean :?:

Called Bimmerlink. Reads fault codes, clears codes, open exhaust valve and turn off/on ASD if you have it.

I've got an F20 with reverse parking sensors.

Any way to code them so when the cars in neutral you can turn the parking sensor beeps off?

Im sick of reversing into a parking space leaving the engine on and having to listen to the beep of the sensors - and you cant turn it off in the cabin until you press engine stop

Bought the Bluetooth OBD (as the bimmercode website said it was better at the minute) and coded a few things in last night.

Locking beep
Digital Speedo
Rear DRL
AutoStart/Stop to remember last setting
Rear wiper frequency after wash
Seatbelt beep/warning light off

Anyone in the North East want anything coded give me a shout 8)
