“Datens”. German for “data set”.

Files that contain information about the modules on a vehicle and how to code them.

Datens are distributed as part of ISTA-P software releases. These are then extracted and used with NCS Expert.

Is it imperative that I have the most up to date ones to code my heated seats?

Hi All I have purchased a 2010 116i with the dreaded rough idle. I’ve changed all the plugs, coils, injectors and the Nox sensor. Still not fixed. I noticed the other day that the air actuator on the inlet is missing. I’ve been using INPA and wonder why it never through up an error. Could it be that the last owner had it coded out? Does anyone have a good copy of ISTA they could send me. Maybe this would help.
