Made this change this morning. Yup, sounds SO much better!

More poignant bass, lower frequencies (below 60Hz) more pronounced.

Better sound staging.

Definitely more rear bias and less top end treble as a minor downside, but it's not flat by any means and it sounds much better in the whole.

Don’t forget that it resets your EQ so if you had adjusted those before you’ll need to do it again. Hopefully, you’ll see even more improvement after the default.

Has anyone codes B&O sound settings on their HK system? If so, how does the F45 compare to it? Coding B&O settings, I found a huge difference in the sound compared to the stock HK settings.

IMO the coding to F45 equaliser was the worst thing ever.Dropped my volume by 25 % ,soundstage in the front disappeared and the mid bass went boomy.It actually felt like there was no output from some speakers. Coded back to stock F20 HK after a day.

No, just stuck to F45.

Changed it back today as it sounds strange streaming Bluetooth from my phone, almost like it has chorus on from a guitar pedal so back to F22 and it’s sorted it so who knows!
