Check adaptive suspension de-code with bimmercode

Post by sir richard large » Thu Apr 19, 2018 2:44 pm

I have a 2016 F20 that was specced with adaptive suspension from factory
On drives, i cant really perceive that comfort vs sports give much of a difference in compliance
CoC papers shows that the vehicle have had KW suspension fitted by previous owner (its back on adaptive oem dampers now)

Is it possible to see whether the control for adaptive suspension may have been disabled? and can I see this with bimmercode + vgate bluetooth adapter

You would need to check the VO, not sure you can do that with BimmerCode so you may need esys, drop wibbles a PM he should be able to assist remotely if you don’t have it.

That’s it was done that way, they may have just used a plug-in emulator to trick the car into thinking it stil had adaptive.
