What does this work out at in terms of a % discount? I think I've worked it out as 18.9% but I'm doubting my own maths!

I would not get hang up on overall % off.... its not a fair comparison.
Because £2250 of the discount is deposit contribution and does not vary... meaning it has a higher % impact on a basic car than it does on
a fully specd up one.
So the guy with a basic car goes to everyone " I got 20% off my car..." and the guy who bought a fully specd car thinks he did not so good
as he got 18.75% off..... use it as a guide but not the written rule.

Hi, new to the forum and perhaps stupid question time. Very interested to take this deal but with being 2 hrs away on the coast of Essex, i was wondering where i would stand with servicing and warranty work ( if needed ) being so far away?

Any BMW dealer will be able to do the service and warranty work, so just use your local one or better still, the one you like using.

For what it is worth I got two trains and a plane down to collect from Tony. Service work was carried out at local dealers without so much as a question as to where the car was purchased. Buy from him with confidence - well documented on here as I’m sure your research will have proven.
65 plate F20 M135i / MG / auto / well spec’ed with: Eibach Pro's / F21 tension strut / black grilles, splitter, side blades & diffuser / full de-badge

That's good to know thanks. Stuck with a Cooper S in negative equity for the time being and it's driving me crazy not being able to order the 140.

in terms of knowing if you have broken the 40k barrier with the options is there a price list that you can work it out yourself with? i would imagine that the list of options that i want will probably be a bit rich , and there is more chance of platting fog than getting me to pay £450 road tax for the sorry state our roads are in haha

It depends if you're in an auto or manual as the CO2 figures are different so first year tax is different. Best bet is to configure to around £40k on the BMW side, then tell Tony what you're thinking. He talked me in and out of a couple of options to get the spec right. I've been happy with my spec ever since, except the sunroof had to go to cover the increased list price.

I'm a newbie but also interested in this offer and have emailed Tony. What is the standard warranty on the M140i? Do you have to get it serviced at BMW to adhere to the agreement?

Standard is 3 years, same as all warranties just has to be a VAT registered garage. For the future value of the vehicle or ease to sell it's not worth the cost saving though. Buy the service pack or haggle on the price.
