I agree. However the first pcp quote we've seen on here was for 3k down and 615 a month. It may not last much over 6 months but i bet they still sell in that time
Quite possibly and I suppose at the opposite end of the purchase price equation is residual value; M4's seem to have taken a bit of a pasting on that score recently (courtesy of plentiful supply and large discounts) whereas the M2 may fare rather better if supply is more restricted? Don't see it being another 1M but can certainly see the residuals holding-up better than the M4!

My deal seems better than most people are posting in terms of deposit and monthlies.

Also the monthlies drop by spec'ing the DCT over the manual which surprised me - GFV is 23k for manual 26k for DCT.

I'm exploring options at the minute but current spec is coming out as per:

2k down - 1,500 equity and 500 cash, 599/month - 47months 8k per annum

Lightly optioned spec as car comes with most things I want as standard:

Colour - HS
HK Sterio
Black wheels
Heated Seats

Potentially dropping the black wheels and optioning the performance brakes.
2014 BMW M135i - 3d, Auto, MG, Adaptive Suspension
2014 Land Rover Discovery HSE - Loire Blue
2016 Porsche Cayman GT4 Sapphire Blue - fully optioned

Not quite short what finance company they are quoting you on buddy... the BMW finance portal clearly states that there is only £2000 residual increase
on the MDCT over the manual. Its not cheaper than the manual on a monthly payment... as per my other post on my section..
You should be paying £19 per month for the Auto over the manual?

M2 Competition Manual £49,285 OTR...…. baseline PCP price, deposit £5,550 then 47 x £499 plus GFV £24,212.

M2 Competition MDCT £51,930 OTR …….. baseline PCP price, deposit £5,550 then 47 x £518.80 plus GFV £26,201.

Whilst most of the more common options cost no more than those shown on my M140/M240 thread - here are some of the more
specialised options for the M2 Comp.

M2 Comfort Package (comfort access/Folding mirrors/Elec memory seats/Rev assist Camera/Enhanced BT)
List price for package £1800 ……….. Cost per month £30.03 plus increase of GFV by £524.

M2 Plus Package (19" Black 788M Alloys/HK sound/Sun Pro Glass/ Heated Fr Seats/ICON LED Adaptive Lights)
List price for package £1800 ……… cost per month £19.51 plus increase of GFV by £1048.

M Performance Brakes (6pot Front Calipers) List Price £1350 ……. cost per month £30.41 plus increase of GFV by £0.00

ICON LED Adaptive Lights List Price £790. …… cost per month £7.27 plus increase of GFV by £524.

Electric Glass Sunroof List Price £895...……. cost per month £14.90 plus increase of GFV by £262.

M Drivers Package (de-limited MPH and track day etc) List Price £2095 ….cost per month £47.90 plus increase of GFV £0.00

Please refer to my M240 PCP options guide for a steer on the individual costs of the run-of-the-mill options

Fair enough, I guess if you’re happy with your deal it doesn’t matter!

The DCT works for me as it will be a DD and at 500 cash the rest equity and £599 / month works out rather well! Initially was coming out at £611 so there is a degree of discount associated - all in I’m happy - are you offering similar deals?

If I wanted to chop in my M140i shadow, how long would I have to wait for a car?

Hi Tony,

Ref F87post thread - for 2NH M sport brake upgrade - grey 6P&4P calipers F&R c/w 400/380mm discs - are you hearing about any delivery date slippages due to OE supplier struggling to meet the demand ?

Cheers

HI BP, Not heard anything at the moment and my cars are all having them and have held their slots so far.
the parts are off of other M cars so I would be surprised if supply was the issue.... I bet its bloody brake squeal or a enhancement requirement.

I was contacted by my dealer today notifying of a 10 week slip of delivery, now scheduled in wk50.

Apparently it’s due to the brake upgrade and the silver wheels. Said they could hold week 40 if I changed the options.

Think I’m gonna cancel the order. Who wants a car at Christmas time? Will wait and see if deals improve

I had a hunch that we would not be seeing these in Sept as first mentioned. I reckon they wont land until Jan 19, which I am sure will lead to plenty of cancelled orders from frustrated buyers (Glad I gave up my slot now)

I saw one in Aberdeen yesterday.
Heading for prep before being delivered to new owner today I think.
