Isn’t it better to fix a deal with lower mileage and suffer the penalty at the end? Bird in the hand an all?? Not something I have to worry about, but an opinion I’ve always had?

Hi Tony,

If I ordered this, could I have it specd with the m performance pack?

Yes for sure, its around "£2000 fitted, without the wheels (keep the standard 19") which adds £44pm
With the 405M 20" alloys it gets expensive... need to check on price but they were nearly £3000 more last time I looked.
that's another £66pm alone...

Not the exhaust buddy... they are no longer available for the latest cars due to filters etc.
the carbon bodykit is £2000 alone.

Hi Tony

0% apr now on stock vehicles? Will that affect the deposit contribution in effect clawing back the lost Apr?

Feels like a good time to get one!

Hi,

I'd be interested to see if the latest 0% APR on Stock cars can better this?

I've been looking around and can find base 440i's 2DR and GC are being offered for £449 a month, with £449 deposit.

I've seen 440i GC & 2DR being offered with very similar spec's to TRL's deals @ £499 a month with £0 deposit.

https://listers.co.uk/offers/2018/11/0- ... e-on-bmw-4

I enquired about that offer and those cars have Plus Pack, Digital Dash, Folding Mirrors, Sun Protection Glass etc.. list price is almost identical to TRL's deals, if my maths works, with 0% APR if you put in £2k, your around £456 P/M, with £2850 your at £438 a month...

Tony, what can you do on these Stock 440i's under this 0% APR offer?

Thanks.

Well I tried to buy a 440i GC in Estoril Blue under this 0% offer, everything verbally agreed was due to goto the Dealer today to sign and put my £500 deposit on, and I get a call 3hrs before in due to arrive that sorry the car was sold elsewhere...

Gutted!!

Not one 440i GC stock car left in UK with adaptive damping (a must IMHO).. last one sold up in Scotland yesterday morning apparently, bummer, was a great deal £51k list with £500 deposit, plus equity from my 428i which had settlement of £17430, was going to be £425 x 47...

Here’s hoping they release some more stock under this offer!!!

Looking at the 440 GC but notice Tony hasn't had time to post up any further details yet. It would be interesting to know what dealer you have enquired with as not always enjoyed the experience at my local dealership

HI Guys, In reply to all of the requests about stock 440 offers on the 0% deal...
I am not offering these deals for several reasons - and I will apologise in advance.
But here are the reasons;

1) we don't have any 440 left in our stock. Which means I would have to search for one and swap it in. That's great except no other dealers
want to give up their prime stock while this offer is running. They want to keep their cars for their customers. Plus we don't have one to offer back.
Even if we located a car, by the time we complete the paperwork and take your deposit the owning dealer has either sold the car or swapped it out
to another dealer for one of his cars... hence you hear many customers have placed their deposit only to then be told "sorry the car has now sold".
2) Most of these cars have been in the network for a while... many have been sat in showrooms being polished to death with a contaminated cloth.
I hate selling anything other than a brand new car from the factory - for these very reasons.
3) Because these cars have been at other showrooms they may have been used for test drives or had families jumping all over them. Nice.

So there you go guys. I need to protect my reputation - I don't want to take a deposit then let someone down. Nor sell a car that's not 100% perfect.

Hi,

I understand what your saying @TRL, however I'm now the owner of a 440i GC in SRB, which was built in the factory @ week 48, collected this weekend, under this 0% offer.

Not sure how the supplying dealer managed to do it, but the car was a factory build(I Spec'd it), and sold under this offer, I wonder if they had a showroom car build slot or a cancelled order or something which they used to get the order through?

Was similar spec to your 440i GC offer, replacing the folding mirrors with reversing camera, but everything else was the same.

440i GC Sports Auto
Metallic SRB
Ivory Interior
M-Sport Plus Pack
Digital Dash
Reversing Camera
Adaptive Damping

All in £978 deposit and 47x£425 a month GTV £16800, 8K PA miles, even sold my 2015 428i on via tootle for £2.1k more than the settlement figure, it was a shame you weren't able to get involved as I would have purchased through yourself if the option had been there, maybe next time :)

Very similar for me, pick up my 440i GC in SRB at the weekend, was also a factory order, the dealership had a 430 on order but was able to change to a 440 in my spec which very similar to yours I don’t have reverse camera but I have Apple CarPlay and heated steering with black leather, great upgrade from my 140i

Happy for you guys with those 2 above.
Had I had any more build slots like these then yes I would have offered the deal. But that was my point, I don't have any slots left
and the only cars I can offer are the ones that have sat around a while. Other dealers would not swap out their build slots to me unless I can offer one back...
so catch 22.
Indeed there are lots of cars out there in the network that are due to arrive... and if you guys can grab one then go for it as its a solid deal.
Just be mindful of older cars that have been in showrooms, that's my best advice. We are all car enthusiasts after all, so its more of an emotional
purchase for us then the majority.
