Just a quick update.
We are looking hopefully at offering two styles:

Style A) Rolled Edge (Typhoon)
Style B) Laser Edge (Lightning)

Also we will be applying a chrome strike to the stainless surface to further protect against staining etc. It may also be possible to apply a black chrome finish.
Again will report back once I have more details.
For now here is a basic image of the two types of end trim finish...
thanks
Nige

These are being designed to fit the M-Lite stock system with it's 60mm tailpipes (not the 67mm MPE).

Beware, it maybe necessary to trim your original exhaust pipes back, Nige has kindly agreed to sell exhaust cutters at cost price.

Original opening post:

Hi all
Bit of advice please from those who have changed m140i exhaust tips.
The wife is now using my m140i on a regular basis now but she has asked for a couple things to be changed first.

So i need advice on change No. 1 exhaust tips.

The black stock tips are too small and blend into the diffuser nicely i feel but the other half wants something that fits the diffuser cutout's better.
The aim is to reduce the space around the tips? Like a nice set of wheels should fit a wheel arch........

I'm running Burger Motorsport Tips on my M135i, which should be the same fitment....

They're definitely a bit bigger diameter:

Very poor quality though, will not take our salty winter roads: viewtopic.php?f=74&t=84889

Mine are the angled slash-cut, which means you need to trim the exhaust's orientation dowel down a little bit with a junior hacksaw, or similar.

Holy feck, they've basically doubled in price since I bought mine, £115 on eBay?!! They're not worth that, mild steel with a uuber thin 'chrome plate'.

Oh well dont see how they can justify doubling the price. Nice looking product tho.
Maybe BCS Nige can create something that fits perfectly.
I see some people have fitted tips from larger cars so thats a possibility.

I'd want chrome tips if Nige was to make some up for our cars.

The other chrome option (stock size only) are the OE 435i tips:

Nice option Marco but they dont really fit the look she wants. Something with a bigger bore but same finish as these or your bms would be ideal
