Noise Testing On Track

Post by MartyB » Thu Feb 15, 2018 10:33 am

Has anyone on here had their M2 noise tested? If so what results were you getting on a static? I presume drive by should be fine at a track with a limit of 95db.

I’m only running a std exhaust.

Not measured it but it's no way louder than my 328i track car was with stainless exhaust and no cats which measured 97-99db depending on track/measurer.

if your exhaust is standard you will be fine. I have a 300 cell Down pipe and remus cat back and had between 98db and 102db,l.

Great thanks for your replies!

I thought it should be ok, but with most tracks being so strict on noise limits these days I thought it’d be best to check.
