AndytheGreek's M2

Post by AndytheGreek » Tue Jan 24, 2017 12:40 am

So, back in November 2016 I sold the m235i to help fund my dream BMW... after a chance conversation with Joe Achilles and his contacts at Sytner the M2 was ordered...

M2 - Long Beach Blue
7speed DCT
Visibility Package
Sun Protection Package
Heated Steering Wheel
Heated Seats
Reverse Camera Assist
Electric Sunroof
Folding/dimming Mirrors
Electric Memory seats
Lumbar adj. seats
Through load
Harman Kardon Hi-Fi
Enhanced BT with wireless charging
WiFi Hotspot prep
Speed Limit Display
5 years Service Package

Absolutely loving everything about this car. Love the new iDrive now, although it took a few days to get my head around the new structure of the menus.

First thing I've had done is a bit of coding thanks to our resident expert Wibbles.
Stop/Start off by default - this should be a factory setting for an M car!

As it stands, the car is still being run in so I haven't felt the full force of the engine, but the looks and sound of this car are plenty enough to keep me smiling Image
This is one phat car - in more ways than one

The wider track and LSD make driving so much easier (and a lot of fun), even during this cold damp spell.. roll on the summer!

Thanks again to Joe Achilles for sorting me the build slot for a January 2017 delivery, also avoiding the VED tax increases.

A few pics from collection day

Luvvverley ..... congratulations ..... have to say I love the stance of the M2; it's everything most of us wish our cars looked like.

Enjoy :fest: :band: :spotman: :beerchug:

It's still weird to me seeing Rollini's name on posts like this. Back when I had my Corsa, he was an admin on the forum I used  I know it's him as he used to show us all some behind the scenes stuff - good to see he's still going :)

Lovely car Andy, I can only dream I'll own a car like this one day!
