Jono this is my set up -
Alloys - VMR v710
Front - 18 x 8.5 ET 45
Rear - 18 x 9.5 ET 50

Tyres -
Front - MPSS 225/40/18
Rear - MPSS 245/35/18

On standard M sport suspension -

The only issues we had with rubbing was Stubbsy was on birds suspension and Tom Shotter was on eibachs springs (I think) so standard suspension will be fine with this set up.

No poke and more importantly no rubbing - in fact next time I need tires I'm going to go 235 on the fronts and 255 or maybe 265 on the rears as the rears defo look too stretched for my liking.

Hi All, i know this tread has died a bit due to worries on fitment etc with current wheels that i have , but i have just sorted some 18" Bola MSH wheels out to my own spec which will be 8" et40 and 9" et45 , so should work well on new and old model 1 series with factory size tyres, i have limited sets in Hyper silver and Satin Black, the retail on these is £650 per set but i will be offering them to Forum members at £550 per set (plus delivery). I just wanted to put this here quickly so people looking at this tread could see it, i will post a new tread tomorrow with more pictures and details. The design ins the same as the VMR 710 as on Twenny's car.

Hi Mark,
That's great news thanks! :D
These should fit perfectly now with the new sizes.
Don't suppose you could do the same for the Cades Artemis could you?

Just to add to this, in regards to my vehicle, I've had it fully loaded with 4 passengers and myself and with the combination of my drop on coilovers, fitment of wheels/tyres and roads in North London, they didn't rub once :fest:. Not over speedbumps, not over potholes, nothing :fest:.
