Active tourer handling

Post by rendo » Tue Aug 13, 2019 1:27 pm

First post here, so hi to all users.

I have a 218D active tourer Lux - MY2015
I've owned this car for about a year and a half and on numerous occasions i've noticed the front end can be particularly wayward.
Generally in wet, and on tight bends i have had it loose traction (i should add this has occurred when driving sensibly)
I have changed tyres this year and put on goodyear tyres that have a good wet profile.

I haven't had any tracking or wheel alignment checked, but didn't feel the need when i replaced the front tyres as the wear was fairly even.

Anyone experienced this or similar? is it just a setup of the car or is it something i should be getting checked out.

I'm running on 1 year old Michelin Primacy 4 and find my 218D(active tourer) corners really well despite its height. Roundabouts can be taken at better speeds than what I initially thought when I bought the car used. I'm coming from an Audi A3 with sport tires and sport suspension. Never had any loose of traction unless in very wet conditions.
