Sooooo decided on wrapping parts of my interior trim as I wasn't a huge fan of the standard silver parts. It was a toss up between black or carbon fibre, however went for alcantara as seen by the MWerks 135i a while back. This included the trim surrounding the CC unit which I really liked!

So got had an afternoon of gutting the interior and sorting all my tools out, and it wasn't as bad as I expected- took around 30 mins to completely take the trim out including the centre console.
Image
Began wrapping yesterday and it isn't the most forgiving to work with, having no stretch compared to vinyl.
Image
Did involve having to drive to work with no interior, but tonight I've finally finished and I'm happy with the results!
Image
Considering this is my first time wrapping anything, I'm rather pleased. It's not perfect by any means, but I'm happy ImageImageImage
It's pitch black so I can't get any decent pictures, I'll try tomorrow and see how they turn out!

Used up the alcantara, think i'll be taking off a few bits to balance out the interior.

A little has changed since the last post, kinda tidied up the interior as well as getting a set of coilovers to sort that ride height out. Image
After the coilovers and the longest weekend of my life

Keep changing my plans at the moment, but I think I'm set on leaving my 261s as they are and saving for some new wheels. I'm getting kinda bored of the OEM look!
BBS LM or similar, but want to go with something different such as Roti KPS or even some BLQ. We'll see??!!

Nice car, last photo wheels rather suit it!

Any more rear splitter pics? Is that a rieger without cutout?

Tyres look very stretched on the rear and you can’t see the front fitment. However, they do look very very nice.

Pretty sure that’s not a Rieger diffuser.

Just noticed the front with the winglets, guessing they are a matching set of ones someone made on here!

The diffuser is a Rieger style diffuser but in a carbon version as they didn’t make them! The front splitter is another style that you can only get in the states, again in carbon, I wasn’t really a fan of the normal flat version. But thanks! It needs some work but I’ll get some pics up as soon as it’s fitted.

Correct there’s some stretch at the rear and a little less up front, but it was the only way I’d get them to fit as the offsets are a little aggressive, but thanks I’m rather happy with them!

More updates, so the following happened over the summer;

Fitted my Carbon M4 Spoiler
Image
Then fitted my Carbon Front Lip
Image
Then refinished the Carbon Reiger style Diffuser
From
Image
To
Image
Then fitted
Image
Image
Image
Then fitted from Grey Depo V2s
Image
So this is what the cars looking like right now. I need to take the front and rear lip/diffuser off to refinish as I managed to mess up the carbon pretty bad. I’ll probably then put them back on next year for a while!

Does the exhaust sound any good?

I’d like to improve the noise of my 120d but I’ve heard diesels with sportier exhausts that sound a bit, well, farty

I did the mod purely for aesthetics! I know you can never make a diesel sound good without changing the whole system. The backbox delete virtually sounds the same under normal driving, but when you’re WOT and at the high RPMs it kind of makes this really loud turbo whoosing noise which I quite like!

That’s not so bad then, normal driving is ok anyway, it’s just when driving with the top down and pressing on a bit, it could do with some exhaust note really to complete the experience.

It’s my only complaint about the car.
