Stage 2 Y or N?

Post by Dazzles »

Intercooler and downpipe supply/fit and custom stage 2 map.

£1000.

236bhp at the moment, est around 300bhp for my 120d which would be great.

Got to be worth it, eh? Or what's going to disintegrate and/or explode on me?

Should I just stop fkin about and buy a faster car?

TIA

Do you already have the suspension and brakes to match?

Make sure to look after the gearbox and diff with lots of regular oil changes.

Thanks mate.

Any idea what model discs/calipers will fit?

Stiffen up the suspension?

I'm not even sure what car you have? E87?

Which wheels and tyres are you running? LSD?

Which brakes? Nice big blue Brembo's?

I'd put her on some better tyres (MPS-4S), shouldn't need an LSD with 4x4 though.

Stage 2 Y or N?

Post by jason@bwchiptune »

Have you had your car dyno tested ?

Would you be happy if you only had 205bhp but they told you 236bhp as a estimate

A intercooler will help keep the power and torque for longer accelerating runs but will not give you anymore Bhp

A down pipe dpf delete will add around 7-9bhp more

What did your car make on the dyno when it was tested as standard?

So, it’s on!

Goes in next week for full stage 2 with a custom map. Projected power 240whp.

Should be fun.
