Re: N55 De Res

Have many of you done a De Res on your standard exhaust system? If so does it affect MOT or cause any problems for the rest of the exhaust having it done? I had BCS sport DP, Remus midpipe and MPE on my M135i - never any issues with main dealer servicing nor MOT time....Always take the car out for ...

Thanks
I’m looking at fitting the same to mine before dampers
What’s yr setup currently ?

Adding tauter rear ARB with open diff can cause inside wheel to lift even on the road. As load decreases on inside wheel forward drive can be hindered as power will be to the wheel with least load / grip

Re: Bilstein B6 adaptive dampers - Fitted!

Has anyone gone the upgraded anti roll bar route plus diff/subframe inserts and then upgraded the dampers. Yes I initially went with H&R sport springs and matched ARB’s F&R plus added the f21 underbody brace to my adaptive damped 5dr pre LCI m135i. It was supplied/fitted by Birds (they had yet to f...

I knew I'd miss something off 🤣 need to double check what size torx the pump was too, as I wanted to add that to the guide.

Re: M140i Rear Brake Pads (M4?)

I'm not after anything track oriented. I've looked around for OEM pads but they seem a challenge to find online. I've also seen some people put in M4 pads as a nice upgrade but still road oriented. Any help including links to sellers is much appreciated. TIA If wanting oem, M4 rear pad part no 3421...

Re: B58TU HPFP fitting to gen1 B58

Good guide.

No need to disconnect/reconnect the battery at the start/end ???

IMHO it’s worth doing when dealing with fuel and electrical connections.

Re: M235i Auto Torque Limited

Hi guys, Had my car stage 1 mapped today but the torque would not increase past 370lb/ft ... is the ZF8 speed torque limited at 500nm? OP - oem tune does have torque limits that vary gear to gear so engine ECU comms with AT gbox ECU aka TCU. Any decent remap of engine ECU will also adjust so as com...

Re: Eibach Motech or H&R Springs

I´m looking for springs/kit with minimal lowering . Springs or complete kits (B12) dont matter. 15/15mm are only for x-drive if I´m correct ? 2WD are 25/15 mm. I would be happy if someone can point me in right direction :) Tried & tested minimum drop options for 2WD are:- oem MPerf springs ~ 10mm F...

Did you just run it off your phone?

My plan is to be able to do it all from the idrive screen.
Yes off either my iPhone or Android mobile

Re: BM3 wifi adapter

Testing out our BM3 wifi adapter. Works perfectly. Next step will be to wiring it in and hide it all behind the dash, then fit an android screen so that we can use BM3 from the car, without the need to use phone/tablet/laptop. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200327/90e603726ebb03c650f21a561a6275...

Re: Wheel test fit - Bola FLB

I have these in 8.5J all round (ET42). Stock suspension currently, and the fronts have probably 2mm clearance to the struts - hoping this improves a bit when I go B12 kit in the next couple months; if not - M4 LCA here I come! I think the fronts could probably use another 3mm poke to sit flush with...
