Date Format

Hi there, this is my first post so please bear with me.

I collected my BMW 120D convertible last night & am extremely happy.

I have a question that perhaps someone can help with.

The car has the BMW Professional radio installed but the date on the screen appears as MM/DD/YY. I prefer the date in the format DD/MM/YY. I have managed to change it to this format on the instrument cluster but not on the radio.

I am guessing that this is not possible on the radio & wondered whether any can help.

I thought all settings showed up on both? Mine is nicely British.

Mine is MM/DD/YY also. I looked at trying to change it to no avail so just learned to live with it which is not too much of a big deal for me.

I'm sure pro h/u displays the day/month in the same format as chosed through the computer - will check next time I'm in the car!

I'd guess this is changed in the secret menu of the radio - now if I could just remember how to get into it....

No mention of date / location setting.

Don't know how to access secret radio functions ?

Thanks for the replies, thought I'd better send an update.

As I said in my first post I have managed to change it to this format on the instrument cluster but not on the radio.

Last night I pressed the "time button" on the radio & there was the time in the middle and the date on the right hand side & guess what. It stated 21/04/10. Problem solved [but I don't know how]
