123D PDC?!

Post by Jord_559 »

Hi guys

Strange one this, drove to work this morning and as I put the car in reverse, the PDC didn't engage, however even more strangely I got no warnings lights or anything on the dash regarding a failure?

Just wondered what I should be looking out for later when I have a check, FYI I retrofitted the cruise control and the digital speedo on to the car late on last night however just can't see why that would cause an issue!

Any help would be appreciated !

No luck so far, checked the fuse and the reverse switch.

Couldn't quite get my head round why there would be no warning light though ?

Does this mean anything much to you Marco?
Image

After checking the sensors with INPA on the testing part it shows that all sensors are working, and brought up this message?

Looks to me like it needs re-coding in.

I believe the business unit uses a separate speaker mate?

If all worked before coding and retrofiting you 've got answer. This must be a reason.

123d Business uses the rear speakers, as far as I understand. I think it was only the preFL Business cars which had the separate 'sounder'.

It's all gone beyond me now, 1 step forward and 2 back lol.

Must've been something to do with what I did when coding, was sure I followed the steps to a T, perhaps only bit I am worried about is whether I had SG_codieren selected and not Codieren_Lesen when executing job.

Officially worried!
