Possible FRM Failure ?

Post by Jord_559 »

Keeps getting worse for me

After coding my cruise control in as per the guide on here, could just be coincidence but I have two warnings lights on the dash regarding the main beam/fog light bulbs being out. Image

However none of the lights are out and seem to work fine?

After some reading it, looks as if it could be the FRM module ? The fogs are crap LED ones and are being replaced with some better Bosch ones. Just wondered if anyone had had any experience with it before.

I've read that it can be re-programmed and hopefully saved, perhaps using Autologic or Tool32.

Any help?
Cheers

Code out your bulb check on your fogs to see if that fixes the bulb out warning on the fogs. Carly/NCS Expert can do it.

It's easy with Carly, pair up, then go into coding, then into FRM, then look for voltage monitoring and turn that off.
