Cleaning?

Post by Rich345 »

Hi.

I didn't really know where to post this so sorry if this is the wrong place.

I used to be into cleaning cars bit not really done it for the last 2 cars I have had and just took them to people to clean at garages. But I want to get back in to it.

My car had the guard x on it as they said would do it for free.

What kinda products do people use?

Thanks

Bit of a loaded question as I'm sure everybody will give you different answers and have different processes.

I use Ultimate Snow foam which hangs on to the car well followed by Duragloss 901 shampoo, (PH neutral and smells great) using the two bucket method. Then either a quick detail or a polymer polish. Currently using up my Zaino detailer and polish but difficult to buy these days so am looking for a good alternative when the new car arrives. Very hard water where I live so have been checking out water softeners as well but not sure if that's taking it to far.

Ace sorry!!

When I load the site I go to the BMW 1 and 2 general discussion. So when I looked down I couldn't see anything for cleaning!

Turns out I'm just an idiot who didn't see the bit before that!

Rich, it's only so the Mods can move the post to the correct forum, it wasn't an attack.
