I've read 17 pages and still don't know how, or where to buy them?
Message Ian (THETYRANT) as he manufactures them

Thank you... I suppose I should have taken the hint from post #1 - "get in touch" lol...

I was looking for a link or some instructions on how to "get in touch" and overlooked the obvious (PM). Duh.

At least the 17 pages was worth reading, I learnt some stuff.

So, will these work with coilovers? How do I make that assessment? Might coilovers use the standard top mount? And therefore be compatible?

The E87 130 I just acquired came with coilovers (and a full stainless exhaust, and an LSD, and BMWP bits) that I didn't (nor the seller) know about at the time of purchase. Can't complain.

If the coilovers use stock top mounts then yes my plates can be used, coilovers tend to come in two variants those that use stock mounts and those that come with their own adjustable mounts so no need for camberplates.... unless you wanted more than adjustment allows.

What are the coilovers on car? If not sure picture of topmounts should be enough to see if stock or not.

Definitely interested in a set of stage 1 plates if and when I get round to my suspension refresh. The wear on the outer edge of the Continental Sport Contact 5 tyres my car came with is extreme, despite the M3 LCAs that are fitted. Hopefully getting between 1.5 and 2 degrees of negative camber would even out the wear somewhat.

Hello,

I would also like to order stage one plates for my 130i.

Have trouble figuring out how to PM, but have added Ian as a friend which hopefully works.

Johan

Log out, log back in, and your PM's should work, I think....

I messaged Ian (stuck in outbox) and have just realised it's probably useful to have the answer on the thread.

I had a go at fitting them today without taking the shocks entirely off. Got them under the fender but then couldn't work out how to remove the existing studs on the top mount. They're tougher than expected.

How has it been done before? I've got a hacksaw and a drill but the hacksaw will take an age and I'm not sure the drill would work.

Thanks
Dan
