Its never enough lol

I watched a film ,a guy with a ford gt40 twin turbo who had 1000bhp and got dusted by a busa turbo

The gt40 owner went away gutted and planed for more power lol

Fitting DP's on an N54 isn't just about extra power. The increased throttle response is worth all the effort of fitting them.

The noise is hardly noticeable unless on wot, perfect combination with the standard 1m exhaust as I'm old and don't like noise ha ha

Yeah Steve's right, the idle noise is the same but as soon as you go WOT it's quite a bit louder. The main difference is the cold start! It sounds great now a real bark but my cars kept in the garage so it's awkward to make a video.

Very nice. Not a job for me on my drive though, it would have to go in to a garage and 4 hours labour adds another £300 to the price.
Still want them though!

I disagree very strongly with that statement, the DP's were perhaps the best modification I performed to my 135i.

It's a fairly difficult job but not impossible on ramps as long as you have the right tools & some patience.

If I change the turbos for any reason then I would get downpipes for sure but until then I'm happy with the performance and sound so will leave it alone. I've spent all my money anyway!
