Coding help needed.

Post by Cabbie »

Hi all,
After a long absence, I am back in the BMW fold with a baby, baby BMW. A 2009 Mini R56 Cooper S To be precise.
It has been quite a while since I used to do a few coding jobs on my 118D, but it seems identical, all BMW systems.

Does anyone have the K+DCAN cable and have ISTA-P, NCSExpert etc set up on a laptop within a reasonable drive of Hertfordshire/North London who is happy to help me code in my MFSW on my R56? I can handle the physical install. Just need help to clear the steering sensor and add the coding items.
I have an old laptop with the software, but it hasn’t been started in about 3 years, and my cable is no good as I have a K-LIne cable.
Happy to pay, or bring doughnuts and beer etc 🤣

I guess another option is that I could order the cable and crank up the old laptop or my newer one and someone could do it remotely too.
Thanks in advance
Daniel

So far added Parrot and Connects2 and swapped the badges for black...
No M badges though :)
Lots more coming... Gimme a chance, only just got it.

I did that on my Countryman, adding cruise in the process. Happy to help you out no issues. I'm in Harpenden (AL5).
