OBD iPhone Apps

Post by R8JimBob88 » Thu Aug 27, 2015 10:35 pm

Evening gents,

I'm looking for an app on my iPhone (5c) that I can use the access the OBD info in my Pre FL E87 130i.

I'm not particularly interested in coding but would like to view fault codes and realtime diagnostics such as coolant temp etc.

Is there anything out there compatible with the Pre FL E87 that doesn't require a cable and computer?

Thanks
E87 Pre Facelift 130i

With an iPhone you'll need a WiFi Dongle to connect, Bluetooth won't work.

Mine's an F20, but I use an iCar Vgate ELM327 dongle, and an app called DashCommand.

Reads and clears error codes, and has all the gauges I need.

Is still Dash command the app to buy?
