Been following for a while, looking into a pre reg and potentially take the hit on the neg equity on the 140! If anyone has any dealers info that play ball let me know!
Ocean in Falmouth have 2 pre-reg cars available I believe, try speaking to Calum Venn, he sold me my car. Such a nice guy & a proper car enthusiast, which makes all the difference! I'm not on commission!

I dropped my m140i into my local dealer today eastern Bmw Edinburgh for my first service , Iv got a little m2 itch at the moment and have noticed some fantastic deals on here so I thought I’d ask the question whilst at the dealership .
So they have a pre reg lbb m2 dct with a decent spec list . 101 miles on the clock .. sticker on the windscreen £45990 . Apr 11.9% . £500 deposit £800 pm . 48month pcp 10k miles per year . Asked one of the sales guys about bringing the apr down nearer the 3% mark to be told that’s fixed at 11.9% . Didn’t seem remotely interested .

I’m not overly fussed either way as I’m only 18 months into my current 48 month pcp deal so il have a chunk of neg equity to sort if I want to chop it in . Saying that if the the numbers were right then I’d seriously consider .

Congrats to everyone who’s managed a bargain on these pre registered m2’s . They really are lovely cars .

11.9%?? Never seen it that high before. I'm not sure they want to sell that car!

11.9% is the typical BMW AUC starting rate but you should be able to get them down to 6.9%.

Though some guys have gotten the 2.9% APR on the pre-reg deals.

I think 100 miles is the cut off for "new" cars isn't it? I might have made that up, but I was always under the impression that's why you see so many with 101 mileage stated and hence, can't get the low APR deals on them.

They list it at 101 so they don't have to offer the 2.9% rate.

F80 M3 - even more toys - gone!

Hi,

Been reading this thread all day, just wanted to know if it is too late to pick up a deal on a M2 before the competition is set to release. I want to secure something this week if I find the right place. Any help is appreciated.

Cheers

There are still some new cars bouncing around.

One of the posters (Jamie) works for Parklane BMW and had 5 cars two weeks ago for £420 dep and £420 per month so may be worth giving him a call. May all be gone now.

Yeah still deals to be done I would say. Use the stock section on the BMW website and look for cars under 100 miles. Should be able to get 2.9% finance rates on these still if dealer is willing, if not, there will always be someone who is. Try not to confine yourself to your local area either. I live in Durham and bought from Park Lane BMW, but saved thousands for the sake of a £50 train ticket.

The lowest mileage you can pick is 5000, AutoTrader allows you to do 100.

Just search mileage low to high?
